m-FINANCE was invited to converse at the Innovation and Technology Transformation Seminar

On September 7, 2021, Alibaba Cloud and the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange (CGSE) jointly organized a seminar about Innovation and Technology Transformation for the Hong Kong bullion industry. Stephen Lam, the managing director of m-FINANCE was invited as the speaker to the seminar to discuss with the industry experts and professionals how to utilize innovative technology to promote the development of the bullion industry and improve the security and stability of electronic trading platforms.

The seminar mainly covered the following topics:

• Feasible solutions for the bullion industry under the financial regulation
• How to improve transaction speed and ensure the stability of the trading system
• How to better protect user information and data security
• Make use of Alibaba Cloud solutions to build a new financial service system

During the seminar, Stephen shared with everyone the latest trends in the bullion industry and mentioned the difficulties and solutions when changing from a traditional desktop trading platform to a mobile trading platform. Stephen also provided some insight in the process of selecting a suitable online trading platform. For example, criteria for the stability of the platform, target market, product requirement, and local market trends were some highlighted topics. Bullion trading has always played a critical role in the capital market. Financial institutions should stay aware of market trends and grasp the emerging technologies to enhance competitiveness and tap more business opportunities.
